Four generations of coffee growing expertise

This coffee comes to us from Concepción Pixcayá Farm, owned and operated by Maria Cristina Mirón de Zaghi and her son Manuel, and located in the municipality of San Juan Sacatepéquez, Guatemala. The farm’s coffees have previously placed four times in the Cup of Excellence, one of the premier coffee competitions in the world. They use only organic fertilizers (no herbicides) and grow avocados and macadamia in addition to coffee, which all thrive in the high altitude and cool climate of the region. They have also been nominated by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations for their efforts in reforestation.
